We have a "General" subforum in the "General" forum.
This is generally confusing, especially if a real-life General should start posting messages.

Perhaps a name change would help?
What about an Off-topic forum (i.e. not about Abhidhamma, Vipassanā, nor Theravāda Buddhism) for discussion of computer-related issues, Buddhist News items, Medical Ethics, Philosophy, etc.
