Hello everyone.
I joined this forum to lean mainly about Gautam Buddha and the Pali language though I am a Hindu by religion. I am from Bihar where the Buddha preached. I speak Hindi as my mother tongue.
I also learnt that Pali might be similar to Magaha/Magadhi spoken in Bihar. I too can speek a little as its similar to Hindi.
I would be interested in learning about Pali and figuring out if the Magahi is the lanuage Buddha spoke and if its still alive.
Thanks

Dear Mahacool
welcome.
As I understand it Magadhi (pali) is indeed the langauge used by Buddha - and all Buddhas.
