Valued Dhammika and Dhammikinis,

For the integration of the Jatakas into the ATI format on ZzE (both sutta, commentaries), I made a list of all possible references in German an english:

(First version was dedicated to the Sangha and given to Ajahn Sujato, for there work. Not sure if it was received).
Here the actual list with some minor corrections:

Index Jataka references in Pali resources and Translations  (English, German) (1,16 MB)

The list includes  for each Jataka:
CSCD Referenzen
PTS Referenzen

So you might easy find the connections and you are welcome and use it within the frame of practice and its purpose.

(Note: The German of Dr. Julius Dutoit translation was generously given as Dana to be shared on ZZE,  the English integration out of process as I still wait on a answer for the acceptance to integrate and share it from sacred-texts.com)

You are always welcome to participate in what way you would like.

How ever, it's maybe a good topic for general share of Jataka resources and stories. So please feel feel free to use this topic in this way and not merely in regard of this starter.

    Dear Mr Brucker,

With regard to the below request, I am pleased to let you know that you have the Pali Text Society's permission to use the Jātaka extracts you wish for your zugangzureinsicht.org project.  This is solely because there is no commercial profit involved.

In any case, "Jataka: Or stories of the Buddha's Former Births":  vols 1, 3 and 5 (translated by Chalmers, d. 1938, and Francis, d. 1924) are in the public domain. Cowell died in 1903 but Rouse only in 1950 so strictly volumes 2, 4 and 6 remain in copyright.

It would be appreciated that you acknowledge permission from PTS in your publication, printed or electronic.

    With all good wishes,

    Eivind Kahrs
